The Invacare MNS500AP-B is a portable combination low air loss and alternating pressure mattress replacement system that provides the therapeutic benefits of pressure relief and skin moisture management. The MNS500AP-B also provides the benefits of both true low air loss and alternating pressure therapy in one system.
Low air loss therapy has been shown to reduce the incidence of skin lesions induced by maceration, shear and the loss of capillary blood circulation. It also minimizes the formation of bacterial growth sites in sedentary or bed-bound patients.
