Electric adjustable beds are the ideal alternative to the institutional look of a hospital bed. With the touch of a button you can raise and lower the head and foot sections of the bed to a position suitable to the individual needs.

What is an adjustable bed?

The primary purpose of an adjustable bed is to provide a healthier and more comfortable sleep position so as to improve the quality of your sleep.

How does it do this? An adjustable bed allows you to adjust the position of the mattress and base to various angles in the leg and head areas to support different sleeping and sitting positions. This feature provides a comfortable and customized sleeping experience, making it ideal for individuals who have difficulty sleeping due to back pain, snoring, acid reflux, or sleep apnea. But they are also great for anyone who likes to spend time in bed reading, eating and/or watching TV.

One significant difference between an adjustable bed and a hospital bed is that adjustable beds were designed for home use, while hospital beds are primarily for medical purposes. As such, hospital beds prioritize functionality over aesthetics, and adjustable beds have a much more elegant, home setting look.

Our collection of Flexabed and Golden adjustable beds offer various styles, sizes, and additional options to choose from such as built-in massage, under-bed lighting and side rails, ensuring that there is a bed suitable for every individual's needs. Browse our selection and discover the perfect adjustable bed to revolutionize your sleep experience!

Which Flexabed adjustable bed should I get?

We carry what we consider the finest adjustable bed brand on the market, Flexabed. They have something for everyone, and every single one of them is manufactured under stringent controls to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. They are all hand built by expert craftsmen in the USA, using the same principles of care and consideration since 1969. And they all come with a 1-year parts and labor warranty, and a 2-5 year warranty that will cover repair and shipping both ways for only $100.

Given that, you can't go wrong with any of these choices.

  • The more economical option, the Value Flex, is great for those on fixed incomes. It's limited by its number of creature-comfort options, specifically it will only support an innerspring mattress, and there is no massage or under-bed lights. It also does not have the automated height adjustment feature of the Hi-Low.

If an innerspring mattress and a fixed height is fine for you, save yourself some money and get the Value Flex!

  • The Premier is a step up and comes with a wide variety of luxury options, including 6 times of mattresses to choose from, massage and under-bed lights that you can add for an additional fee. It's identical to the Hi Low in terms of features and options with the exception of the automatic height adjustment.

  • Flexabed's Hi-Low has all the creature comforts you need with the addition of the ability to raise and lower the bed height with the touch of a button. Like the Premier, it  comes with a wide variety of luxury options, including 6 times of mattresses to choose from, massage and under-bed lights that you can add for an additional fee.

*Both the Value Flex and the Premier have a heavy-duty frame option and can support up to 400 lbs.

Should I get a hospital bed instead?

If you need more position adjustments or need a higher weight capacity, then choose a hospital bed over a home adjustable bed. Otherwise, an adjustable bed is a great choice. It's also more attractive as it lacks the institutional look of a hospital bed.

Can I add a headboard to an adjustable bed?

You can add a headboard to the Value Flex and Premier adjustable beds. You cannot add a headboard to the Hi-Low because it can be raised and lowered vertically.
