Most four legged walkers adjust in height to fit a variety of user heights. Two-wheel walkers have two front wheels that help assist a person when walking without having to pick up the walker. Additional features may include a seat so the individual may take a period of rest while walking. Underarm crutches are to be used when the individual cannot put weight on one leg or foot and also come in various height ranges to fit the individual's height. A quad cane is four pointed to provide additional stability compare to a single-pointed cane. Knee walkers come with either 3 or 4 wheels and are ideal for individuals recovering from foot surgery, breaks, sprains, amputation and ulcers of the foot because it completely immobilizes the use of the lower leg. Knee walkers also include height adjustments and hand brakes to better control the walker's movement.
