Reclining wheelchairs are operated similar to most other manual and lightweight wheelchairs with the additional feature of a reclining back, which is operated only by someone from behind the chair. A reclining wheelchair back is especially important for individuals who cannot sit in a full upright position. Tilt recline chairs offer additonal support for prolonged seating in a tilted and/or reclined position. All of the wheelchairs we sell fold for storage and transportation and include removable, swing-away footrests. Additional features may include wheelchairs that offer multiple seat sizes, armrest styles, frame colors and wheel options, depending on the model.
