The Tuffcare Lateral Rotation mattress system is the perfect bariatric mattress for supporting immobile, bed ridden patients. Its combined lateral rotation and true low air loss therapies significantly reduce the risk of pulmonary complications for patients who are immobile by adjusting their position for them. The turning system helps control pressure, moisture, friction, and shearing forces. Shifting the patients position keeps these forces spread out and varied. The true low air loss provides pressure relief and skin moisture management by maintaining a temperate environment for the user. These combined therapies prevent and treat stages I-IV of pressure sore ulcers.
