Frame construction:
The bed frame is constructed of a durable and long-lasting welded steel frame.
Semi-electric:
It has a powerful DC hi-lo motor which comes pre-installed on the foot section of the bed frame, making it easy to set up and disassemble. This motor allows patients to raise or lower the head and foot with one-hand control. The height of the bed is adjusted manually.
Smooth and quiet operation:
The motor unit and bed design provide the ultimate in quiet, smooth operation.
Bed assembly:
The bed frame only requires five components to assemble, making it easy to put together.
Safety:
This bed also prioritizes safety with features such as locking pins and side rails; locking pins secure the bed ends to the sleep deck, and side rails prevent accidental falls.
Grid deck:
The Patriot Full-Electric Homecare Bed comes with a grid sleep surface to provide superior comfort and support. Made of a series of interconnected slats that provide excellent airflow and moisture dissipation, the grid surface actually helps prevent bedsores.
The grid deck also offers the following additional advantages over a spring deck design:

We have carefully selected mattresses for you to choose from that meet the various needs of those who find themselves in hospital beds.
LEVEL 1: Best choice for patients who can roll over on their own, are not significantly over or underweight, and do not spend a significant amount of time in bed. (Included)
LEVEL 2: Multi-layer mattresses are best for those who spend most of their time in bed, or who cannot shift position independently. A good foam mattress will redistribute body pressure points to prevent bed sores.
LEVEL 3: This type of hospital bed mattress is best for heavier patients or those who are confined to the bed most of every 24-hour cycle.
LEVEL 4: This is an air mattress with a pump for those confined to the bed and/or highly susceptible to bed sores or those who want or need optimum comfort.

- Improved rail design decreases the spacing between the crossbars, thus reducing the risk of entrapment
