Heavy Duty and bariatric walkers and rollators offer the same features as their likeness in a standard, adult or junior frame version except they have a larger, wider and more reinforced frame to accommodate an individual weighing over 300 lbs.
Four wheel walkers and rollators have many advantages over most two or three wheel walkers because they have the added features of a seat for resting and four wheels for improved manueverability. The front wheels swivel for ease of turning without having to lift the walker. Four wheel rolling walkers and rollators have either locking hand brakes or spring-loaded push-down brakes to help control the walker's movement. Many of the walkers also feature adjustable handles and/or seat height to fit individual needs.
