The ProBasics Lightweight Full-Electric Bed is easy for one person to transport--with a foot section that weighs just 55 lb. The robust, lightweight frame and snap on/off low-voltage DC motor box and hi-low motor ensure quick and efficient set-ups and easy routine maintenance. Users will take comfort that in the event of a power failure a 9V battery back-up is there to position the bed springs and bed height for safe transfer. Plus, the smart, recessed design of the head and foot spring assemblies help reduce pinching and injuries.

- LEVEL 1: Best choice for patients who can roll over on their own, are not significantly over or underweight, and do not spend a significant amount of time in bed.
- LEVEL 2: Multi-layer mattresses are best for those who spend most of their time in bed, or who cannot shift position independently. A good foam mattress will redistribute body pressure points to prevent bed sores.
- LEVEL 3: This type of hospital bed mattress is best for heavier patients or those who are confined to the bed most of every 24 hour cycle.
- LEVEL 4: This is an air mattress with pump for those confined to the bed and/or highly susceptible to bed sore or those who want or need the optimum in comfort.

Aruba Group 1 Contour Mattress
The Meridian Medical Aruba Contour Group 1 Foam Mattress offers a therapeutically designed foam core that was created with state-of-the-art technology to provide superior pressure relief and comfort in three distinct areas: head and shoulders, torso and lower extremities. Relief of pressure in these areas help to prevent capillary occlusion, shear, skin abrasion and moisture build up; all of which can cause skin breakdown. The computerized fabrication process offers a sculptured surface to maximize airflow for each section of the body for comfort, providing therapeutic support and pressure relief that is far superior to a conventional innerspring mattresses.

Protekt Aire 3000 Alternating Pressure Mattress System
The Protekt® Aire 3000 is a medical-grade air mattress designed to help prevent pressure ulcers by combining dual therapies of low air loss and alternating pressure in one unit.
It features has 20 individual bladders that allow for deep immersion and excellent pressure redistribution. Combined with the adjustable air flow dial, it provides custom pressure settings for each patient's individual requirements and helps to redistribute pressure and prevent skin breakdown. Its pump alternates in 10 minute intervals.
The mattress also has a low air loss feature that helps to keep the skin cool and dry.
