Electric adjustable beds by Flexabed are the ideal alternative to the institutional look of a hospital bed. With the touch of a button you can raise and lower the head and foot sections of the bed to a position suitable to the individual needs.
What is an adjustable bed?
The primary purpose of a Flexabed adjustable bed is to provide a healthier and more comfortable sleep position so as to improve the quality of your sleep.
How does it do this? An adjustable bed allows you to adjust the position of the mattress and base to various angles in the leg and head areas to support different sleeping and sitting positions. This feature provides a comfortable and customized sleeping experience, making it ideal for individuals who have difficulty sleeping due to back pain, snoring, acid reflux, or sleep apnea. But they are also great for anyone who likes to spend time in bed reading, eating and/or watching TV.
Flexabed's adjustable beds come with additional options to choose from such as built-in massage and under-bed lighting.
One significant difference between an adjustable bed and a hospital bed is that adjustable beds were designed for home use, while hospital beds are primarily for medical purposes. As such, hospital beds prioritize functionality over aesthetics, and adjustable beds have a much more elegant look.
Our collection of Flexabed adjustable beds offers various styles, sizes, and features, ensuring that there is a bed suitable for every individual's needs. Browse our selection and discover the perfect adjustable bed to revolutionize your sleep experience!
Which Flexabed adjustable bed should I get?
We carry what we consider the finest adjustable bed brand on the market, Flexabed. They have something for everyone, and every single one of them is manufactured under stringent controls to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. They are all hand built by expert craftsmen in the USA, using the same principles of care and consideration since 1969. And they all come with a 1-year parts and labor warranty, and a 2-5 year warranty that will cover repair and shipping both ways for only $100.
Given that, you can't go wrong with any of these choices.
- The more economical option, the Value Flex, is great for those on fixed incomes. It's limited by its number of creature-comfort options, specifically it will only support an innerspring mattress, and there is no massage or under-bed lights. It also does not have the automated height adjustment feature of the Hi-Low.
If an innerspring mattress and a fixed height is fine for you, save yourself some money and get the Value Flex!
- The Premier is a step up and comes with a wide variety of luxury options, including 6 times of mattresses to choose from, massage and under-bed lights that you can add for an additional fee. It's identical to the Hi Low in terms of features and options with the exception of the automatic height adjustment.
- Flexabed's Hi-Low has all the creature comforts you need with the addition of the ability to raise and lower the bed height with the touch of a button. Like the Premier, it comes with a wide variety of luxury options, including 6 times of mattresses to choose from, massage and under-bed lights that you can add for an additional fee.
*Both the Value Flex and the Premier have a heavy-duty frame option and can support up to 400 lbs.
Should I get a hospital bed instead?
If you need more position adjustments or need a higher weight capacity, then choose a hospital bed over a home adjustable bed. Otherwise, an adjustable bed is a great choice. It's also more attractive as it lacks the institutional look of a hospital bed.
Can I add a headboard to an adjustable bed?
You can add a headboard to the Value Flex and Premier adjustable beds. You cannot add a headboard to the Hi-Low because it can be raised and lowered vertically.

Why should I do business with you and not Amazon or some other home medical equipment company?
First, we are a family-run business with years of experience. We know our customers needs and we are careful about what we choose to sell to meet those needs. That’s why we sell only the very best home medical equipment brands. We also offer free shipping, low price guarantee, and easy returns.
In addition, you never need to feel uncertain over what to buy because you can engage in live chat or on the phone with an expert. Together, we’ll make sure you get exactly what you need.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free in the Continental USA for all products. Please contact us if you require shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.
What if I don't like it? What is your return policy?
Some products by law cannot be returned for hygienic reasons.. Those products are marked accordingly on the product page. For all others, we offer a 30-day return policy on most products. All returns and/or exchanges must have prior authorization. If you received a damaged product, you may return and exchange that product at no cost to you. All others will be shipped at the customer’s expense to the least costly location as determined by ADHME. A 15-20% restocking fee will also apply depending on the item. To return products, call customer service at 800-956-6616 for instructions and details.
You said you will match price if I found a cheaper price elsewhere. What do I need to do to get that low price?
Please verify with the business, where you found a cheaper price, the TOTAL cost to you, including any additional option costs and shipping costs. Please make note of their website address prior to contacting us because we will need it to verify the price. Be aware, many web (e-commerce) retailers do not include shipping with the price of their products. Or, they may have a lower cost of a particular product (i.e., wheelchair) but it will not include a necessary option (i.e., footrests). Be forewarned about all the fine print.
Some restrictions apply. For example, we may not be able to compete with "big box" stores such as Amazon or Walmart. But sometimes you may find that our advertised price is already lower than theirs!
Do you bill Medicare?
In order to keep our costs down and offer greatly reduced prices, ADHME does not bill any insurance company. However, for certain products that Medicare may partially reimburse on a purchase (i.e., commodes, lift chairs, walkers and rollators), we do provide a detailed paid invoice which will include any product HCPCS billing codes. We suggest checking with your private insurance company about possible reimbursement from them with your paid receipt.
